WHAT IS SPORTS MASSAGE?
Sports massage is the term applied to the disicpline of using massage for the specific benefit of all sports and exercise participants. It covers the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues of the body eg. muscles, ligaments and tendons.
Sports massage should be tailored to each individual's needs to positvely enhance their ability to perform.

Sonja is an ex-professional dancer and holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts, Dance degree. She graduated from UWIC with a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry and has a BTEC Diploma in Sports Massage from the London School of Sports Massage. Her previous experience includes working with elite athletes, professional dancers and ITV's Celebrity Fit Club. She currently works as a podiatrist in the NHS. Her research interests include injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Vicki has a Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy and is a full member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA). Vicki is the current masseur for the Women’s Welsh National Football Team and works for the Sports Council for Wales/Elite Cymru and Swansea Football Club.
